What attracts high school football players to certain colleges?
Posted on May 27, 2010 at 07:49 PM.
Hiring Tim Brewster (Tight ends coach) was a mistake because they had charlie strong (florida's D-coordinator & 2 National Championships) in the running and chose Brewster instead.
Last year records:
Iowa - 11-2
Wisconsin -10-3
Minnesota - 6-7
Do you guys know why this is happening or have a clue on how this could be fixed?

Yeah Girls, and Education play alot into your recruiting. They want to know if your school turns out pro athlete's and sometimes they are just tired of where they live. Example: I'm from Pa we had a slim chance at Terrell Pryor @ penn st, but he lived in Pa All his life, he would not give Penn ST a visit until HIS DAD ASKED

Recruiting is such a bizarre thing to me.
You hear about kids choicing a school for the girls/party's on campus ...
Or the beaches/weather.
I choose a school based on the academic reputation in the field of study I was interested in.

I'm guessing girls and money - and not in that order.
I suppose at some point in the thought process is also a few thoughts that the school could also elevate them to the next level as well....
