The Magic open this week against the Trailblazers, looking to once again defend their home court.
Game 1
The definition of a team win, this game did not see any one player on the Magic dominate, but a group effort to overcome the Trailblazers. Because of this, no one wins Player of the Game, however, one play stood out above all the others and won "Play of the Month". This play was Jason Richardson's dunk (pictured below)
Game 2:
**author's note: because i'm an idiot, i had the code copied and closed the window, but forgot to paste and copied the code for the celtics color over it. so, here's a quick box score without in depth stats.
The Magic cruised to a 17 point victory behind Jason Richardson's 22 points, it's good to see Jason bounce back from his performance against Portland.
Transaction Alert: The Magic have traded PG Gilbert Arenas (81), C Daniel Orton (61), and their 2011 second round pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves for SG Wesley Johnson (71), 2011 first round pick and 2012 first round pick.
The Magic were blown away when they were offered this trade from Minnesota, not only do I get a first round pick in Wesley Johnson, along with two more first round picks. Stellar trade.
Game 3
The Magic suffered a horrible loss at home to the Celtics, they also lost starting shooting guard Jason Richardson to Back spasms, he is expected to make a return in one to two weeks. However, with the pickup of Wesley Johnson, the Magic still expect a high level of play out of the shooting guard position.
Game 4
*author's note: i hit the refresh button when i was writing this box score and it took it all away, a lot of rage ensued. box score only:
A very streaky game but the Magic's third quarter run is what allowed them to pull out a victory.
It's getting very discouraging to see J.J Redick's poor play, and because of this, he'll be losing time and if this trend continues, he'll be on the trading block.
Game 5
It was good to see Jason Richardson back, even in limited time. The Magic are happy to have him back in the line up, Jameer Nelson went down with a sore wrist, but will be able to return in the next game.

After viewing the trades available to me for Arenas and Turkoglu, I decided to hold off trading them.
The Magic's first game was against the New Orleans Hornets, the Magic cruised to a 23 point victory.
* note: I only included the bench players that actually contributed, the rest didn't really contribute all that much.
Jameer Nelson did work on Chris Paul, holding him to only 8 points and forcing 4 turnovers, because of this he wins the Player of the game.
Game 2
*note: Did not include player stats, due to laziness.
Hedo Turkoglu wins the Magic's player of the game award for his hard work on the offensive zone, score 25 points, getting 3 offensive rebounds and 7 assists. Well done.
Game 3
The Magic dropped their first game at home to the Mavericks, leaving a terrible taste in the Magic's fans mouths. The Magic look to right this wrong in their next game against LA.
Game 5
The Magic were fired up in this game, allowing the least amount all season, they proved at this was their house and any team looking to win in it would need to bring their best.
Player of the game has to be Brandon Bass for his 17 poins and 12 rebounds, outplaying Dwight Howard who had 16 points and 12 rebounds and a couple of turnovers.

Introduction
I've always wanted to do a dynasty blog and I've decided to start it with a new association on NBA 2k11, focusing on the Magic. As a casual fan of basketball, I hope to learn more about the league and teams in it.
The Association will be played on custom sliders and settings, notably only a 29 game season instead of 82, which allows me to play more games, the playoffs, however are still the same seven game series and the rest of the rules are left unchanged.
I'll be using my friend's (Deadeye181) sliders, I believe he got them from the OS forums but I'm not all that sure which ones he used.
Now, on to the actual association!
Preview
At first glance, the Magic are ready to win now with players such as Arenas and Turkoglu, but due to this, have some big salary cap problems, which is going to make retaining Dwight Howard later on in the association a problem. This is not the way I want to build a franchise and I look to move some of these older players in hopes of being able to keep and build around one of the league's premier big men Dwight Howard.
