The Tigers trimmed their magic number to clinch the Central to 4 games. Any combination of Tiger wins, and Twin losses 4 or greater, and the Tigers will clinch the division. The Blue Jays (83-48) lead the East by 10.5 games over the Yankees, and 11.5 over the Rays. The Angels (70-61)moved a half game ahead of the Astros in the West, with the Rangers just 3.5 back. The Twins, Yankees, and Rays are in Wild Card position, with the Astros 2 back, and the Rangers 5 back.
In the National League, the Braves (84-46) lead the East by 10.5 over the Mets. The Brewers (77-53) lead the Pirates by 1.5 games, and the Cardinals by 5.5 games. The Dodgers (81-48) lead the West by 11 games over the Padres. The Pirates, Mets, and Cardinals are in Wild Card position, with the Padres just a game back.
