LIONS TAKE CONTROL OF NFC NORTH WITH 31-15 WIN OVER PACKERS

The Detroit Lions defense continues to turn heads. They forced three Green Bay turnovers in their 31-15 win Sunday at home. With the win, the Lions improve to 8-0, and move a game and a half ahead of the Packers.
Jared Goff had another solid game, throwing for 312 yards and a Touchdown. D'Andre Swift managed just 67 yards on 25 carries, but he did have a Touchdown, and added another 89 yards on 9 receptions, and a receiving touchdown. Jameson Williams caught 8 passes for 150 yards.
On defense, Alex Anzalone had 13 tackles, and an interception. DeShon Elliott, and Mike Hughes each forced a fumble, and Derrick Barns had a fumble return for a touchdown.
Next week, the Lions travel to Chicago, to take on the Bears at Soldier Field. Chicago is 1-8 on the season, and are coming off a 48-28 drubbing at the hands of the Miami Dolphins. Justin Fields did throw 3 touchdown passes in that game, but the Bears could manage just 56 yards on the ground. Game time is 1:00 PM
