BOX SCORE

Kyle Dutcher ignited the 4th of July fireworks with a walk off 2 run home run in the bottom of the 10th, leading the Tigers to a 4-2 win over the Guardians. Eduardo Rodriguez pitched 7 .1 strong innings, but a home run by Oscar Miller in the 8th prevented him from factoring in the decision. Gregory Soto (4-0) picked up the win in relief.

Spencer Torkelson (26) homered twice, and the Tigers hit 6 homers, beating the Guardians 11-2. Miguel Cabrera (20), Jonathan Schoop (15), Kyle Dutcher (19), and Jeimer Candelario (14) also hit home runs. Candelario had 3 RBI. Casey Mize earned his 13th win of the season with 7 innings of 2 run ball.

The Tigers completed the 3 game sweep of the Guardians with a 2-1 win. Miguel Cabrera (21) and Austin Meadows (19) hit solo home runs for Detroit. Tarik Skubal allowed 1 run in 7.2 innings, striking out 12, his second consecutive start with 10 or more strikeouts.
