RateSports Releases All-Pro Football 2K14 Mod For The Xbox 360 Stuck
Posted on November 7, 2013 at 08:37 AM.
Earlier today, Operation Sports user RateSports released his NFL 2K14 mod for the Xbox 360 version of All-Pro Football 2K8.

The mod can be downloaded for free through RateSports' website.

Changes from last year's mod include:
  • Rosters accurate as of week 10 in the 2013-2014 NFL season (minus backup offensive linemen)
  • All teams built using the standard mix of 2 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze players
  • Season mode freezing issues have been fixed
  • All teams reverted to their default stadium
  • Uniforms updated for the Colts and Seahawks
The PlayStation 3 version of All-Pro Football 2K8, unfortunately, is not compatible with RateSports' roster file.

You guys really need to promote this big time for this guy! This game may not have all of the graphical upgrades of today's games but it plays better than any football game I have ever played and it's five years old!

Never played the game. How does it work? Is there a roster sharing option on the game?

Unfortunately, APF 2K8 is not offered for download on the PSN or XBL marketplaces. You will need a physical copy of the game.

The good news is the game is super cheap now. Most stores sell it for under $5.

My whole reason for not liking 2k football and it's been the same since I had the first nfl 2k on dreamcast, is that the player models are horrible and I completely dislike how slow the game plays... When a quarterback throws the ball it has zip on it. Even a bullet pass on 2k is in slow motion
I agree that APF 2K8 plays a few steps too slow on the default game speed. Thankfully, there is an option for "fast" game speed in the menus. And on "fast," the game plays just as quickly as a real NFL game.

If you find the thowing speed too slow for your liking, you can always go in and adjust the throw power ratings if you like using FlyingFinn's PC editor.

Getting this mod working is basically a four-step process.

1) Download the roster file onto your computer.

2) Rehash and resign the file to your USB profile using a program like Modio.

3) Load the resigned roster file onto a USB thumb drive.

4) Put the USB thumb drive into your Xbox 360 and start the game.

hmm, imo i feel espn nfl 2k5 has the best player models of any football game ever made, in terms of being anatomically correct(and joint articulation). and the base walking animation for characters is just off for me in madden. the way the qb in 2k5 and madden slowly approach the line of scrimmage, and the way the linebackers creep the line of scrimmage, sums it up in a nutshell. also, after the snap if you let the qb move naturally in 2k5 without controlling the dropback for him, it was a thing of beauty. especially on rollouts when you used the right-stick to duck, dodge, and fend off defenders trying to sack you.

i admit the max speed of the game could have been faster in 2k5, and that the bullet passes were slow. they def did not have that zip on them.

Glad to see you guys still keeping APF going. Is there any way in the next build you could get the Buccaneers and Browns in? Either way, thanks for your time and effort in this.
