Fire Pro Wrestling Returns Now Available On PlayStation Network Stuck

Tuesday afternoon, Sony threw wrestling fans a swerve by re-releasing Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for download over the PlayStation Network.

Weighing in at 4.4 gigabytes, the $9.99 digital release is a direct port of the original 2007 PlayStation 2 game.

Because "PS2 Classics" are not currently supported on the PlayStation Vita or PlayStation Portable, this PlayStation Network release can only be played on a PlayStation 3.

Existing PlayStation 2 save files must be converted to .VME format before they will work with the PlayStation 3 digital version.

I have this game on PS2 and it's pretty cool. Great Wrestling simulator and lots of wrestlers available. Really only problem is to make it really worth while you really have to put a LOT of time into it as the CAW modes are rather complex. Great game though. Wish they would put something in there to where you could download others CAWS like on WWE games with Community Creations. That would be amazing.

Thanks to Sony for that $10 back off any purchase over $50 last month. Got the show and now with my $10 I got back I'm getting this! Now if I could only get them to put NFL 2K5 on here...
