I believe it's time to bump up the practice mode in Madden. I have to admit, I'm one of those guys that spends countless amounts of hours in the practice screen trying to figure things out. It's one of the first modes I try out after the initial menu surfing gets done. I thought of a bunch of things that could be added that would make the practice mode for guys like me more enjoyable.

First, make it more realistic. They wouldn't have to make a practice facility for each team, just work the skins where you can put the logo on the field or around the facility. I don't think that would be too much to ask. Another thing would be to have coaches on the field. Instead of having the Madden Tron Test Mode with the neon players running round, make it where you can take a player and practice moves with a coach. Put actual practice equipment on the field.

Next, I would like the practice mode to have the option to scrimmage a game where you can stay on offense of defense. Another good option would be to try to either score on the Defense, or if you're playing at the Defense you should try to make the Offense go three and out.

Instead of having the gameflow portion of the game, it would have been best if that instruction was added to a practice mode. It seem more logical for someone to learn the plays and get familiar with a gameplan in the practice mode. Then you could see how well your gameplan worked before playing in a actual game. You could scrimmage and see how your offense/defense "Flows".

I would use practice in Madden if it was in online franchise. Because I want to find ways to beat my opponent. I wouldn't use it al the time but it would be fun.

Yeah...It's so many things that they could do to make the practice mode better in the game. It's not wasted because I'm sure I'm not the only person that Labs plays in that mode. It could be a great deal better though. I like the way that Live 10 and the way the NBA 2K series does practice. You know...scrimmages. In Live 10 they allow you to scrimmage the way you're talking about.

Ya like I just played in like practice mode and came up with this sick new play Im gonna use against my next opponent on my online franchise. I got 2 TD's off it when I just played in a ranked game online. The practice helps cus I kno how to use all my routes off this play. Well if it got put in Franchise Mode they would probably do something with your players skill going up on that play depending how u did with it in practice.

Yeah, thats the goal. It could have been great if they put the detail into the Offensive coordinator being in Practice and regular games. Seems like they want you to learn plays on the fly. If that commentary was in the Practice mode it would help a ton more than just learning on the fly during a REAL match.
