I tried my hardest. I put Drew Brees, Jammal Brown, and Elvis Dumervilon the block. I did everything I could think of, and nobody in the top 4 picks would trade with me. Maceo Sweetney went 4th to the Bears, who needed a starting runningback desperately. I did get lucky, however- I was holding the 27th pick in the draft, and Renaldo Moon, one of the best corners in the draft path slid to me. I snatched him up as soon as possible, and he'll slot in as my #1 CB from day one. Since I missed out on Maceo (who I may try to trade for in the future, because I've never had him and this is the perfect career for him), I wanted to nab a good RB, so I began targeting Jamel Keddington in the 2nd round. He was available when I drafted at 59, so I picked him up without a second thought. The rest of the draft, I traded down and targeted sleepers for quality depth.
