Sorry, I'm not the one to answer the question, but I did notice that 2k12 gave us the option to edit hair length. That is a step in the right direction I would say.

They gave us the option to edit hair length, but the length doesnt extend very long. I hope they do add in new hairstyle AND tattoos bc the ones they have are played out and unrealistic

I guess editing the length is nice but there is more to hairstyles than just that. Walk into a barbershop and you'll know what I mean. Created player choices never give you the option of having a neatly edged up hairline and other variations of haircuts.

Someone from 2K needs to go to a barbershop in the "hood", and ask to borrow that poster that shows all the different haircuts brotha's get and put all of them in the game. Don't act like yall don't know what poster I'm talking about lol.

I pray they have more hair styles n 2k12.The hairstyles r so old and they look so fake.Dont even wanna get started on the tatoos.Create player just needs a overhaul altogether.

I agree. CAP needs to be a focus next year. Once you get deep into the franshise, players all look related. I also would like to see an actual "fade" in 2K once and for all . Once of the most common and general hair styles - and I would say same goes for white players. Not all white players have mop tops or bangs lol.... just a thought. Hope they delve into it next year.

Agree with you 100% DubTrey1. I know there are more important modes 2K could focus on but I don't think CAP gets the attention it deserves. Definitely hated seeing the same looking players in 2K11.

They need a lot more, like in Top Spin. Not to mention, white dudes with long hair look stupid cause it don't move at all, it looks like its been HEAVILY gelled in place. (They had it right in 2K7). But it's a small detail in what will surely be a fantastic game.

2k12 better surprise me with some new CAP feature cuz that's one thing they really didn't talk about

They keep putting thay nasty patches haircut on there.

Some of the NBA players have uniquehaircuts, Brandon Jennings' frohawk, Birdman's mohawk, MIchael Beasley's dreads come to mine. Hairstyles for CAP are mostly the same
but I do remember a few new variants for already existing haircuts. The long hairstyles are horrible in this game. The only one I remotely like is Ricky Rubio's but it's only unique to his cyberface

I'm hoping whenever Visual Concepts/2K does a significant overhaul of CAP that they'll make NBA players' hairstyles available.

Most of the players in the nba r black so I don't see why der isn't a variety of low cuts. I'm just saying. It's not a big issue because da game gon b sweet but it wld b a nice expansion.

I agree with this blog 1000%. It would be cool if they had an option to select a current players hairstyle as an option. Instead of having generics like mohawk, dreads, afro, etc the user could select "Birdman", "Nick Young", Derrick Rose", etc. On top of that give user the option to change the color of the hair. Since 2k is promising that they will be able to update player's hairstyles this year maybe we will see something like that in 2k13. If they are going to promote my player they have to give more robust hair options

Maybe next year they'll get CAP together.... They focused on a lot of things in the game.... I say this every year, " What else can they do.....?" So they should be able to focus on CAP a lil more.... Even if it just means we can have NBA player's tattoos and hair styles.... It's better than the generic looking ones we have now....
