Archtypes
Theres a huge uproar about archs, and going back to 2k16's method of inside, outside, or balanced. The direction of eSports and 2k along with it negates this altogether, nevermind the money implications of making multiple builds. I mentioned eSports, and I feel like this is an area that not many are acknowledging that greatly supports archtypes being here to stay, and I'm all for it. Having everyone have all around builds removes the strategy and makes the game more of an ... Read More

I was recently looking at some of my older blog entries and I couldn't help but notice how relevant they still are. One in particular that caught my eye is my old blog entry highlighting my 2k11 wishlist, and I couldn't help but compare it to what is coming (and what i hope is coming) in 2k15 set to release in under 3 weeks time.
It was a great list then and still is now, and since I feel like my ideas are eerily parallel to those within the 2k dev team (many of my ideas in my blogs ... Read More

Before I begin I would like to request that we get a master practice scheduler that we can set before the season to setup practices throughout the year automatically with options. Like 2 practices a week with an option of at least one day off, or an option for not after a back2back set. This would allow us to always have practices without having to setup each one manually throughout and entire 82 game season. It'd be cool to only have to tweak them if need be and not having to add them each week. ... Read More

Constantly thinking of new ideas can burn you out...
I can relate to the 2k dev team because I know that having to come up with new ideas and concepts constantly can be quite the burn out. I wanted to give a few tips to improve modes going forward that I hope the devs will take into consideration when making 2k going forward, or even patching the current title (2k14).

Are We Heading in the Right Direction as we go into Next-Gen?
Two player animations have been the crux of many basketball video games that we remember to be great. Many newer games have attempted to go away from these types of animations, but is this the right move? Lets explore the possibilities.

What we see on the court is the process of how players think. Basketball is about the interaction between the player with the ball and the opposition, ... Read More

How It Began...
Back in 2005, NBA basketball video games were starting to take the shape of the sim games we know today, the "SIM" foundation that we now know was just getting the first bricks laid in place, and the future was brighter than ever for the NBA LIVE franchise. At that time NBA LIVE was the NBA game of choice for many. One would have never guessed with the seemingly clear skies ahead that NBA LIVE was in for a wrong turn it may never recover from.

--Bring Isomotion back to the right stick--

In every sports game i have always felt this area has been overlooked and i am sure im not alone feeling this way.Playing more than around 2/3 seasons in your franchise mode has been close to impossible for some.Although i am not one of those people, but rather a die-hard basketball fan,i still wish that i had more reason to continue on in my franchises for more than 5-6yrs.This brings me to the subject;the need to feel a sense of accomplishment. Here are a few things that i hope will someday make ...
