Fixing Madden's Robotic Animations

After watching limited E3 footage, it is evident that many gameplay animations still look robotic. In my opinion, there are 2 reasons. First is player model physics. From what I have seen, Maddens player models do not seem have upper and lower body physics. To not get too specific, the upper and lower half of the body can react to different forces. Complete Player Control and Precision for Madden and NCAA

As a user, I don't have full control over my player's actions when playing Madden or NCAA. I hate being engaged in a block when I don't want to be. I hate hoping that I'm close enough to a receiver so the computer can automatically jam him for me. I want to be able to do that stuff myself and pay for it if i mess up, wether it result in a penalty or just getting flat out beat by the opposing player.

EA NEEDS TO BRING FUN TO THEIR FOOTBALL TITLES!

To do this we need to talk about controls -
for me the passing game is boring because it doesnt take that much skill. You hit the recievers icon button and the qb throws him the ball. You can have a much simpler system without any icons over the receivers head.
