Today you had a great opportunity to mend many baseball wounds with one single act.

Instead you chose to let let the infection grow.

Following Jim Joyce’s mistake that cost Armando Galarraga a perfect game, you had the opportunity to reverse the safe call to an out.

I goto the links you posted but, nah, I think Selig did the right thing. It was what it was and something like that is not reviewable, at present and to reverse it, after the fact, I believe, would be a travesty in itself. I think the league should just be open to replay challenges of some sort, say, 3 per game per team, in the future, staring next season. Something should be worked on in the off season.

I am a Detroit Tiger fan and of course we were all upset once we saw the replay wednesday night and i am willing to admit i was screaming curse words at the tv, but Jim Leyland, Armando Gallaraga and the entire fan base in Detroit forgave Jim Joyce and it showed thursday afternoon when we applauded the umpires when they walked out of the tunnel and Gallaraga gave Jim Joyce the lineup card himself. Im not going to say this is a forgive and forget situation, but people need to stop talking about "what should have been" and realize the game will always have the human aspect in it.

Bud Selig did the WRONG thing. He should have reversed the call.
