The woman in this picture looks absolutely terrified. To me this is a situation where gender equality does not add up. If the woman were to win it would be an unbelievable story but the reverse outcome could be a lot more severe. I don't want to start a "men are stronger than women" argument but biologically speaking men typically have stronger physical attributes and strengths over women. I mean even looking at the picture of the two competitors its clear that the man looks stronger based on muscles. I know strength isn't everything in a fight but I just fear for the safety of the woman in this fight.

After watching TUF, the women looked like their punches were jabs, and their jabs, like slaps. I other words, the women would be no match for the men and should never happen. There will always be some women that can match the men, but the majority wont.

Is this for real? Would anyone put a woman in the ring with Tyson or Haggler in their prime?

I say yes they should be allowed to fight, as long as both fighters agree. Would it be entertaining, probably not because the men would dominate the fight with just pure strength alone.

I heard this guy was injured, so I'm guessing he's gonna fight her at 50% health. Smell a set up, but I hope he ends it in 20 seconds or less so they never try this again.

I would not personally do it, even if I was gonna get paid. But I did wrestle against women in high school, and I used to train and spar with women in the dojo with pads and head gear on. But full contact mma fighting that can get bloody and going for knockouts, or chokeholds, and potential jointlocks or broken bones. I do not think it is a matter of fairness. If they are the same weight class, then I would assume that they both have a chance of winning. I have met skilled female martial artists over the years. But I guess I just would not be entertained by it, and would not want to watch it personally. Especially with the potential for death in the cage. What if worst case scenario the man kills the woman, or the woman kills the man. Either way it would reflect badly on the sport. I mean we used to throw gladiators in with the lions, but that was back in the middle ages. I just don't think it should be encouraged. There is too much domestic violence in america already, and I think making a violent mma cage of men versus women would only encourage men who would prey on women that are not in their weight class outside of the ring. With a referee and television a male/female fight could probably be considered entertainment by some people. It just would not be me, and I would definitely not bring my family, grandmother, mother, aunt, sister, or nieces to watch it. Men are called to love women as Jesus loves the church.
