Yes, I couldn't stand his "Look at me" display. At least in MLB, he'll get a fastball drilled into his ribs to remind him to not do that again. In the NFL, we see diva WRs prance around after making a 6-yard catch and there is no punishment for that one. To me, that showboating crap is much more prevalent in the NFL than the MLB.

I agree Glenn. I'm ok with excitement and passion, and his celebration at 3rd base was fine by me. At the plate, however, you just can't show guys up like that in the big leagues. I love how all his teammates are making the "he doesn't know" excuses for him, as if 3/4 of the league isn't foreign.

If you don't want the batter to show you up, make better pitches. Plain and simple. Go ahead and bean the batter the next time up. If I were Puig, I'd rub the spot, smile, and literally walk to 1st. Next time up, I'd knock one over the fence. This time, I'll point at the homerun ball, and circle the bases holding that same bat. As I reach home plate, I'll whip out my pen, autograph the bat, kiss it, and fling the bat.
On a serious note, lay off Puig.
