old titles dont mean a damn thing in the future. Players are playing for today not 16 seasons ago. Clippers run LA right now. draw bigger crowd and are way more fun to watch. Lakers need to rebuild , stop crying that they got left at the alter by d12, and start building a team like other nba GMS , draft, trade and get quality FA. Deep pockets dotn mean a thing unless you want a team of senior citizens like the nets

maybe in the short term. Once the lakers become great again and it will happen. The Clippers will possibly go back to the wayside. You win one division title and make one deep playoff run and now you're a legit threat? Come on, they better step their game up. They got exposed by the Grizzlies and one will hope that Doc will push em to the next level. As far as old championships are concerned they've won more championships than any other team in the last 13 to 14 years, so you can chill on that. I'm saying this and I'm a Knick fan!!! I've been wanting a championship from em since 73' and I was born in '83!! I'm going to go cry now.....
