LeBron is a player like none we have ever seen. Tremendous talent, I just hate the flopping. I realize lots of players do it but he can set a example and others will follow.

“I play an aggressive game but I don’t flop. I’ve never been one of those guys. I don’t need to flop. I don’t even know how to do it,”- Lebron James

Stop hating? Just because someone acts like an *** but is an amazing athlete? That's not enough of a reason.

Yes, he's an amazing talent, capable of succeeding in any era, IMO. And I was proud of his performance in the Olympics.

But he's also shown himself to be an incredible fool. IMO, he's had his *** kissed for so long, he doesn't understand how his actions really make him look - certainly the sycophants that surround him aren't going to call him out.

Personally, I find Chosen1 tattooed across his back to be in incredibly bad taste, but whatever. There's also the "decision", the whining over not being DPOY, and releasing shoes that say 2 time champ. This guy just doesn't get it.

I grew up before the era of message boards, comment sections, facebook, twitter, and all of the social media we use today (and I still don't use it). I grew up in a time when athletes were judged by their play in their professional field not about what they did off the field or how their attitude came off as arrogant, insensitive, or
or anything else.

I am a fan of Lebron regardless of the whining and the flopping because when he plays ball there isn't a player that can stop him except the guy in the #6 Heat Jersey. He gets my respect I honestly just wish like many others he will tone down the whining and just play ball.

LBJ cannot, and will not get my respect as a basketball player in the NBA.Bird,Magic and MJ stayed with the teams that drafted them and build championships with those organizations. I realize we live in a different era of pro athletes jumping from team to team. In my opinion those weak stars not real stars. The only organization that has manage to build a family and not just a team of late is the Spurs. I respect that organization completely. But getting back to LBJ....he's more like Karl Malone...big and whiny.

Lebron is the most unselfish superstar to date. Off the court he's a great person, unlike some other superstars. He left Cleveland to win a ring, he gave Cleveland chances to bring in talented and they didn't. They didn't wanna trade Andy or JJ Hickson and the next year after Lebron they traded Hickson. Lebron wanted Amare, Phoenix wanted Hickson and Cleveland didn't do it, instead they brought in Antwan Jamison??? Are you serious? I don't care how old you are there has NEVER been a player to ever do it by there self... Ok, the way he left was not right but it was for charity and that charity made alot of money. For the people that say well Jordan stayed, Magic stayed, Bird stayed their whole career with one team... Guess what they brought in guys for them, hofs to be exact. When it comes to Kobe, remember Charlotte drafted him and he asked for a trade, if he would have stayed he wouldn't have had the rings he does now. He also was demanding a trade from LA till they got Pau. Lebron was a FREE AGENT, therefore he does what's good for him and his family.

And by the way Nike released those shoes not Lebron, get your facts straight. He doesn't have people making shoes in his basement ya know. Lebron will always be hated... He could run into a burning building and save 20 babies and people would hate him because he wasn't wearing red. FOH

I have nothing against Lebron I hate the Miami Heat being Mavericks fan you can understand why. Lebron became a Miami Heat off the top that is automatic hate. Good player yeah but he flops way way too much to be a player of that caliber. Dont hate him personally but as long as he is with the Miami Heat I HATE LEBRON, DWADE(SUPERFLOPPER)and BOSH. Now I hate JESUS SHUTTLEWORTH too.... but seriously the personal hate Lebron gets is absurd. People bashing him twitter on his personal page is a bit disrespectful.

I don't hate him, I just hate things he does or says. Don't whine, flop and complain all the time.

I think it's wrong that the people of Cleveland reacted the way they did when he left, he didn't deserve that. On the other hand, he shouldn't have gotten on tv like he did to announce were he was going to sign. A press conference would have been fine.
