1. LA Lakers swept by Spurs. Does D'Antoni deserve the blame?
For a team that barely made the playoffs, LA still had a lot of pressure to perform. Injuries, a new coach, and new superstars all thickened the plot -- perhaps too much. Change is likely coming, but who should stay and who should go?
2. Tim Tebow cut by NY Jets
The circus has come to an end surrounding Tim Tebow -- at least in New York. After drafting Geno Smith in last week's NFL draft, the quarterback spot opened up wide for the Jets and Tebow clearly wasn't in the picture.
3. 2013 NFL Draft is in the books
Following last year's class, highlighted by Andrew Luck and RG3, the 2013 list of prospects seemed thin. The first round was dominated by offensive linemen early and only one QB (zero halfbacks) heard their name called in the first round.
4. Did umpire Tim Hallion drop 'F-Bomb' on Rays' pitcher David Price?
5. LeBron and Heat sweep first series since birth of 'Big-Three'
6. Big Ten losing Legends and Leaders, opting for geography
7. Is Golden State a serious contender with three-ball threat?
8. Rick Pitino lives up to tattoo promise
9. 'Double-Overtime' goes in favor of Harvick
10. Horschel gets first win at Zurich Classic
QOTD: Who deserves the blame for the Lakers' woes this season?

IMO, he was a terrible choice for that team. Or any team for that matter. An aging Laker team is not run and gun friendly and that is the only thing D' Antoni is good for. He caught lightning in a bottle with Phoenix and that will be his legacy, it will never happen again. The more he keeps getting chances, the more he is gonna prove that he is a below average coach who is better suited to be an assistant somewhere. Its no coincidence that Woodson took over in New York and righted the ship almost immediately. In all honesty the Lakers should have just given Phil Jack what he wanted instead of being stubborn and getting stuck with a terrible coach.

D'Antoni is a great choice for LA. They always want to be a fast paced high scoring team. They will get players to fit D'Antoni's system even if it takes a few years to clean out some salary.
Mike Brown was a bad fit because his style wasn't Hollywood. D'Antoni brought this new style to the NBA (along with the RIck Pitino,Jim O'Brien and the old school small ball George Karl-Don Nelson).
Bad fit if you are talking this year. Good fit going into the future.

Wow! I do agree that D'antoni was a terrible choice to coach this team, but to blame the entire thing on him is a bit unrealistic. The injuries are mostly to blame I think.

I have pretty strong views on D'Antoni as a coach. He is terrible. He should not get another NBA head coaching job ever. If he can't handle being an assistant, he can go back to europe and peddle his snake oil over there.
His system was always going to be suspect with a team like the Lakers, and they certainly struggled. But to me, the key factor that is an utter disgrace is his continued misuse of players and his stubbornness with his 'system'. There will be talk about the injury factor, but I think his player management, whilst not entirely at fault, can be seen as a contributing factor.
As a coach, you tell someone like Kobe to sit down and rest. You sub him out strategically and rest him appropriately. You don't play him 40+ minutes a night chasing a final playoff spot, regardless of his insistence on playing. I can place fault with Kobe, but D'Antoni has a track record of having a short rotation and playing his 'favorites' heavy minutes.
This guy is a joke. I hope they fire him, I can't say whether they will, but with this fool as a coach, Buss in drivers seat, and Kobe out for possibly good, this team needs some focus big time.
