Tigers Offense shows up in Game 2:
Cabrera Goes Yard Again.
Game 2: April 9th, 2014
Detroit Tigers @ Minnesota Twins
Game 2 of 3
I thought I put this game out of reach, but then they kept hitting HRs.
They swung at a lot of fastballs early in the count, especially Drew. Didn't let me get ahead in the count with a easy one down the middle. The first HR was on a hanging slider however... meh
Their starter was tossing up meatballs for the first inning and then tightened it up for an inning or two before the manager yanked him. Much different than my first game where i lost 3-2. I like how this game felt a lot different that the first game.
After two games of my first actual franchise playthrough, I'm thinking that it's going to be an interesting season. Will try to trade Fielder unless my young guys in the minors progress well... I have QBerry playing 2nd base (lol), he had a crucial error in the first game.
My "starting" 2B is injured. I picked him up in the Rule 5 Draft and he got hurt in spring training smh.
