SAN FRANCISCO, CA - After taking 2 of 3 from a strong Atlanta Braves squad, the Giants squared off against the league worst 13-28 Miami Marlins at AT&T Park Thursday. Just like last series, this first game came down to the final out. The Marlins jumped out to an early 4-1 lead, stroking the ball time after time against a surprisingly weak Matt Cain. However, the Giants again mounted a late comeback behind Marco Scutaro's solo shot and Mike Morse's 2 RBI triple. Joaquin Arias came up big once again in the pinch hit role in the bottom of the ninth, drawing a leadoff walk. After sacrifices by Pagan and Scutaro, Arias was standing on third with the red hot catcher Buster Posey up to bat. On a 2-2 count, Posey drove Turner's breaking ball straight up the middle, in the Giants second walk-off win in four games. The San Francisco Giants are still struggling to stay atop the tough NL West, now being tied with the San Diego Padres in first. After this four game series, the Giants will travel to Denver to take on the Colorado Rockies.
