Here is my concern. I am a part of 3 different, active, online Madden dynasties. I am also a part of 6 different online NCAA dynasties, (dont tell the old lady). I have yet to have a disconnect while playing an online NCAA game. Having said that I continue to have connection issues with Madden. I know this isnt an isolated problem. I counted 22 start attempts out of 12 games one week in Madden.

If EA is now making it mandatory that you buy the game brand new, or purchase an additional code to play online, there needs to be some sort of accountability. Granted, there were still many problems when the service was free, but now that we are essentially paying for the service, shouldnt we expect better quality? Now I also understand that if the game is purchased new there isnt a cost increase incurred for the online code. But my point is, this seems to be the way all games are leaning, (online gameplay that is)so why not get it right. EA needs to be held accountable to some extent for this **** problem. Why does it seem like NCAA is always one step ahead? Why hasnt this issue already been addressed? And my biggest question is how does something like rapid disconnects not get caught ahead of time?

I agree, I have seen some disconnect issues with my online dynasty. Although my biggest comment:

I agree that they need to get their **** together if you're having that many connection issues with Madden, as I've experienced a few with NHL as well, but to suggest that they issue refunds is a little absurd.

As you mentioned, they are not charging any more for their products because of this online pass system, merely trying to convince people to purchase their games new, which I believe they are wholly entitled to. IF they were selling the game with the option to pay an extra $10 to get the online pass then I would definitely agree with you, but as it is refunds will never happen.
