Call-up Jerome Williams gave this game away to Detroit (7 ER). Furthermore, the Tigers dove deep into the Angels' bullpen. Adam Jones hit for the cycle. Mark Trumbo is scheduled to see hitting coach Don Baylor.

Ike Davis walked with 2 outs in the 5th. Miguel Cabrera's RBI single, scoring Jose Altuve, was the difference. Matt Cain went 8 innings, pitching around 7 hits. Craig Kimbrel recorded the save. JJ Hardy's hit streak of 13 games was broken.

W: 7-3
Adam Jones homered twice, and Miguel Cabrera added a 3-run shot. That was the bulk of offense needed to overcome the Angels. Ryan Braun also went 4-4. Johnathan Lucroy will also be off to see Don Baylor pretty soon.
