Felix Doubront has been traded to the Tampa Bay Rays for Kyle Farnsworth and Fernando Rodney. Both Farnsworth and Rodney have expiring deals and are well past prime. Doubront may have some upside; it is unclear as to whether or not he has peaked.
This is Farnsworth's third stint with the Tigers. He spent parts of the 2005 and 2008 seasons with the team. Hopefully, this one is the charm.

The Tigers are holding off on trading David Freese. Management believes that moving him is not as urgent as previously believed. Names floating around included Jose Tabata, Allen Craig, and Mike Carp. Perhaps something is in store for the offseason...
