Both the Tigers and Indians exchanged 1st inning runs. Ike Davis' home run in the 4th proved to be the difference. Craig Kimbrel struck out the side in the 9th for the save.
W: 5-4
The Tigers broke out in the 6th with a Mark Trumbo two RBI double and a JJ Hardy RBI single. The Indians rallied for two in the 7th, thanks to Ezequiel Carrerra (all 4 RBI), but they were stymied by Craig Kimbrel in the 9th.
W: 4-3
Josh Donald delivered what seemed to be the final blow in such a close game, with his solo homer in the 8th. However, the Tigers scored two runs on three doubles to walk off as winners.
