Tigers Swap Aces Again!

The lefty curse continues, as Cole Hamels marks the 5th elite left-handed starter to leave the Tigers with less than one season under their belt. Hamels follows Gio Gonzalez, Ricky Romero, Jon Lester and CC Sabathia on this long, yet prestigious list.

This time, the new Tiger is Matt Cain, slightly more expensive than Hamels. However, he is a year younger (and also not a lefty...). Cain will assume the second spot in the rotation behind Justin Verlander. In addition to that, Cain will seek to rectify his 4.27 ERA.
