Anaheim strikes first, but timely offense and solid pitching from the Tigers makes the rest of the game easy. Brett Lawrie homered in his return from shin splints.

W: 4-3
The Tigers did not lead until the game was over! Pinch-hitter Ike Davis and Brett Lawrie drilled back-to-back home runs to tie and win the game, respectively. Elizardo Hamre was credited with the blown save, as the Tigers bullpen kept the team's hopes alive.

W: 11-3
The Tigers notch a series sweep, and Justin Verlander notches his 2nd consecutive complete game. Wellington Castillo hit two home runs in the romp.
