Mike Napoli's solo shot in the top of the 12th inning was believed to be the game-winner until Delmon Young walked off for the Rangers. Cole Hamels struck out 10 in 8 IP, earning the tough no decision. Neftali Feliz pitched 10 shutout innings, before giving up the Napoli bomb. John Axford takes the loss.
L: 6-0
Jered Weaver got down early, and Colby Lewis frustrated the Tigers. Detroit suffers the rare back-to-back losses.
W: 8-3
The Tigers climb back into the series with a win led by the offense.
W: 5-4
The Tigers escape with a series split. Miguel Cabrera hits 2 home runs, driving in four. But, Ryan Braun's solo homer was the difference. John Axford finally converts his first save of the season, only having two opportunities to this point.
