Tigers Land Frieri

Just when you thought the Tigers' bullpen was good enough, it got even better. Due to a surplus of lefties, the Tigers traded Daniel Schlereth and a prospect to the Angels for Ernesto Frieri.

The move also boots Aroldis Chapman from his part-time setup role (formerly shared with Ryan Cook).

Frieri will likely make his Tigers debut in the upcoming series at home against the Twins.

The Tigers try to break even with the Texas Rangers in the finale of this four game series. The Tigers dropped the first two, but rebounded solidly on Sunday night.
