Michigan State played their unprecedented 2nd "Game of the Century". As #1, they defeated then #2 Alabama in Week 1. However, #2 Wisconsin was a much tougher opponent on the road. Though the Spartans spent most of the game behind, they used overtime to keep their #1 ranking.
