Because I can't fully recall all of the rankings and records at the time, I will not do box scores for Games 4-10. Here's a recap:

Week 4
Notre Dame 10
Michigan State 24

After finishing the 1st Half tied, the Spartans scored 2 unanswered touchdowns.

Week 6
Ohio State 3
Michigan State 16

After a bye week, Ohio State surprisingly proved to be no true competition.

Week 7
Indiana 0
Michigan State 32

MSU assaulted the Indiana secondary in a rivalry rout.

Week 8
Iowa 21
Michigan State 27

Andrew Maxwell threw two Pick-6'es, but the Spartans scored 17 unanswered points in the 4th Quarter. BCS hopes were nearly dashed, as the Spartans enjoyed their first week as #1 in the nation.

Week 9
Michigan State 38
Michigan 3

The Wolverines were severly unstable on offense, and they were beat to the ground by the Spartan rushing attack.

Week 10
Michigan State 35
Purdue 14

After scoring first, Purdue slowly went away quietly.
