Game 54 vs. NYY

The Tigers had absolutely no trouble taking care of the Yankees, again.

Doug Fister is now 14-0 after today's start where he struck out 10, despite giving up 2 in 7 innings.

Curtis Granderson's 2 RBI single accounted for the only Yankee runs.

On the other hand, a tweaked Tigers lineup produced 9 runs. Miguel Cabrera and Adam Jones homered.

The Tigers have one more game against the Yankees before hosting Cleveland. Then, interleague play resumes...

Team Notes
Scott Downs has officially been demoted from setup man to middle reliever. Today, I realized how much better he is during the non-pressue situations.
