Game 43 @ CLE

A fatigued Justin Masterson inexplicably got the start for the Indians. He was... okay until the 3rd. He was absolutely pummeled in the 4th. He left after 3 and 2/3 IP; and when the book was closed on his outing, he had 8 ER on 11 H. His ERA has ballooned to 19.64. This was his first start since he tore a quadricep in Spring Training.

Ricky Romero, on the other hand, went all the way, giving up only 3 hits in a complete game shutout! He struck out 9.

There were many offensive stars for the Tigers. Michael Morse and Ian Kinsler homered. Adam Jones had 3 RBIs.
