Tigers Swap Aces

Gio Gonzalez is no longer a Tiger. We shopped him around and found a deal for Ricky Romero. Gio Gonzalez won 1 of 2 decisions on his year so far. He injured himself in early April.

Ricky Romero is young, and he has already proven himself. He will take the 3rd spot in the rotation.

A prospect was also sent the Blue Jays' way in the deal. The Tigers continue to inflate their budget.
