I have spent most of my off day today working on the Cardinal roster and other things to do with Cardinal basketball in the game. I created a closed legacy and saved it to 2kshare under "Cards Basketball 2010-2011" Here is a breakdown:

What you get:

-The Cards basketball roster for 2010-2011. I used the most downloaded 2010-2011 as of today. These rosters look pretty good but there were some errors with Louisville. I looked at other teams and they looked passable. Sorry I am not able to give credit to the person who made them. I cant remember who it was. Anyway, if you read this good job. All heights and weights for players are correct according to the official site for Cardinal basketball. I also adjusted skin tones (the original roster had Elisha Justice with dark skin), faces, facial hair and hair styles as close as I could to real life. I did a couple of accessory edits and small ratings edits just based on what I saw in the NKU game over the weekend. Nothing major there.

-I added assistant coaches Tim Fuller and Steve Masello to the coaching staff. You will notice through their coaching cards that Masello is thought of as a great recruiter in the game just as he is in real life. Tim Fuller is thought of as an "ok" recruiter whom works well with the kids. This is almost exactly how Coach P described them in a presser earlier this preseason.

-One note on the coaches, if you go into the edit screen, you will notice that their ages are listed as 3 years younger than they actually currently are because the calander is set in 2007 and there is no way to change that without simming. In other words, by 2010 in the game, they will be the age they are now.

-The 2010-11 basketball schedule is as up to date as I can make it. By my count, the Cards have 31 games scheduled for this year. The game limits you to 28 games. I tossed out Chattanoga, Morgan St and Drexel to save rivalry games like UK (of course) and WKU. All venues for home/away are are correct but the dates are not necessarily, again due to game limitations. Also, the FIU and Marshall games are out of order chronologically by accident. Sorry about that.

-The coaching profiles have been updated to reflect the up tempo style that UL will be playing this year. This can be adjusted to your liking.

-The gym the Cards play in has seen a bit of a facelift from the original "Freedom Hall" in the game. This is my effort to try and bring the look of the new arena to the game. Really it is just some small cosmetic touches. I wont list them, see if you can pick them out. On a side note, I wish we could change the name but oh well. I tried.

-Cheerleaders are now wearing Red Black and White instead of Red Yellow and White that came with the game originally. This is a small thing but it annoyed the heck out of me so I am glad that I was able to fix it.

-The Cards preseaon intersquad game has been rightfully named the "Red White game.

What you dont get:

-The ABL for the first year-This may be a killer for some but I simmed the ABL for myself before I thought of the idea to share this with everyone. Again, my bad.

-Due to roster limitations, Tim Henderson and Mark Jackson Jr are not included on the roster in my legacy. I could have put them in by deleting created players from other teams before starting my legacy but I didnt want to delete a potentially good player from another team by accident so I decided to omit them. Tim Henderson may have played sparingly in the exibition and Jackson Jr did not see any action. In all honsety, these guys are just filler in case guys get hurt right now IMO. However, as mentioned, everyone else is there with correct number, height, weight and hometown, including Gorgui Dieng being from Senegal.

-I did not do many ratings adjustments from the base as I like to progress my players naturally however, I did up the speed of Elisha Justice a little and I gave Dieng a 3 pt rating (the base had it at 0) because he showed a little outside game against NKU. Dont worry I only bumped it to 10 or 15 or something like that.

That is it. I hope some folks enjoy this. How awesome that I can do this and share it with you guys? 3 years later and this is still the standard for CBB games.

Any suggestins or questions let me know. I will copy the original file before playing games so that we have this as a starting point

Dude, I'm a Louisville fan like you obviously and I really would like to know how to get a hold of your legacy you got there. Is it on the xbox 360 cuz that's what I have and this looks legit!
