With some defense finally getting on the blog, the offense strikes back again. If He was not only a true sophomore last year he would be in training camp for the NFL. His potentisl is off the roof and he is already a proven super star. This high flying acrobat was part of the most underated offenses in 2008.
Once he stepped foot on campus he was making plays. As a Freshmen he had two 100 yard performances (Kansas and Indiana). Against Kansas he set the receiveing yards record for a freshman with 155 receiving yards. His freshmen year, he compiled 43 receptions for 622 yards and 6 tds. He knows how to go out with a bang ending his season with a bowl game against Indiana in which he recorded 9 receptions for 117 yards and two touchdowns.
With a strong freshmen performance this man exploded as a true sophomore. He was Second in the FBS in touchdown receptions (19),Third nationally in receiving yards per game (113.9), third nationally in yards per punt return (17.94), and second nationally in points per game (9.69). This man did not only catch passes he returned punts. He was rewarded for this with the accolade of Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year. This man was a first team All American and first team All Big12. He was a Biletnikoff Award Finalist losing out to Michael Crabtree. The 7th best player in college football is

Dez Bryant is the leader by long run for this year�s Biletnikoff Award. His strength, speed, size, and athleticism makes him an instant mismatch against any cornerback. Being a receiver in Oklahoma State�s prolific passing spread offense just makes him that much more deadly. Bryant is the best Wide Reciever in college football and could possibly bring Oklahoma to its first BCS Bowl game. Bryant will be the first Wide Receiver taken in next years NFL Draft.
