NBA 2K15 MyLeague w/Phoenix Suns - Ep 1 - Starting the simulation
Posted on January 11, 2015 at 02:15 PM.
I decided to start a MyLeague with the Phoenix Suns, where all games will be simulated. First start with some settings. I play on PC, and the roster and the draft class can be found in 2K share. The roster is rovert 22044’s roster. The draft class is Darkman’s 2015 draft. My own fictional drafts aren’t ready yet, so I’ll just use Darkman’s. Sliders are from SimWorld User Central. Also, the house rules from SimWorld central are in place. I’ll go two weeks at a time, so there will be around 15 episodes in one season. Some of the games will have box scores, not all though.
So let’s get to the dynasty. The roster in the start off the season was this:

The schedule to the first two weeks is full of tough games. We start at Phoenix against the Lakers. Our second game is also at home, when the Spurs visit Arizona. Right after the Spurs game we leave to Salt Lake City, where we’ll play the Jazz. Couple days of rest and again the Lakers, this time in Staples Center. We come to home right after and face Memphis Grizzlies, before a home game against the Kings. The last game is against the Warriors at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The depth chart looks like this:

The second game against San Antonio Spurs was much closer. Suns still managed to win both halves: 1st half 44-43 and the second 44-42. Game 88-85 to the Suns. Some stats from both teams:
Phoenix: Isaiah Thomas 23pts 4ast 5-6 fg and 2-3 3pt. Eric Bledsoe 13pts 6reb 3ast. Marcus Morris 10pts 4reb in 13 minutes
San Antonio: Tiago Splitter 12pts 11reb. Marco Belinelli 11pts w/ 3-5 3pt. Manu Ginobili 11pts on 5-6 fg.

In November 1st we were playing our first road game, against Utah. Start wasn’t the best, as we lost the first half 41-35. Second half was better, but the comeback wasn’t enough. Season’s first loss came by 88-86 numbers. Some stats for both teams:
Phoenix: Gerald Green 24pts on 5-6 from 3. P.J. Tucker 15pts with 6-10 from the field. Goran Dragic 15pts with 2 steals.
Utah: Trevor Booker 14pts 5-7 field goals. Enes Kanter 12pts 7reb. Gordon Hayward 12pts 8reb 5ast

So after the close loss against the Jazz we made our way to Staples Center to play the Lakers second time this season. With the first game won, we were confined that we can win the Lakers. The first quarter was great, but the second was a little bit worse, and the halftime score was a even 48-48. But one of the teams came better of the locker room. It was our Suns. With the third quarter won by 11 points, the win came to Arizona. Score was 102-87. Some stats for both teams:
Phoenix: Markieff Morris 20pts 8reb. Eric Bledoe 16pts 5reb 12ast. Goran Dragic 15pts 7ast.
LA Lakers: Kobe Bryant 25pts 7reb 5ast. Nick Young 19pts. Wesley Johnson 13pts 5reb.

Then was time for the Grizzlies. They were 1-3 when coming to this game. And they wanted to get to .500. They were much better team, Grizzlies win 93-73. I’ll just give yo some stats from the Grizzlies, because nobody played good.
Memphis: Marc Gasol 18pts 7reb. Mike Conley 18pts 8ast. Zach Randolph 14pts 11reb.

Then in the next game the Kings came to Phoenix. The first half was good for the Suns, but the fourth quarter was the time where Sacramento was great, scoring 40 points. Kings win 107-98. Some stats from the game:
Phoenix: Alex Len 15pts 7-7 shooting. Miles Plumlee 12pts 16reb. Goran Dragic 11pts 5ast.
Sacramento: Rudy Gay 21pts 5reb 4ast. DeMarcus Cousins 18pts 9reb 3stl. Darren Collison 14pts 5ast

Between the Kings game and the Warriors game we got a trade offer from the Los Angeles Clippers. They’d give us Spencer Hawes and Chris Douglas-Roberts. We would give them Miles Plumlee and Marcus Morris. I rejected that as soon as it came, since we would’ve been robbed in this trade.

Then it was time for our last game of the episode. The Warriors came to Phoenix to get the points. And they got. Our third quarter defense was horrible, allowing 35 points. The game ended 111-95. The full box score:
