Hey!

I haven't been on the site in a while. I was wondering, when Madden NFL 10 comes out, I was thinking about recording games of me playing Madden that coincide with the official NFL schedule every Sunday, starting in September. It won't be every game, just key rivalries, match-ups, and, of course, the Seahawks.

I was also thinking of creating a QB in Superstar mode in Madden 10 and writing journal entries about his experiences on Sundays and uploading footage of him playing.

The reason: I don't know, bored, I guess.

Tell me what you guys think. Does it sound like a good idea. Comment...

You going to keep the rosters updated for injury and coach's benching folks and what not?

Sounds cool. I think football games should have more features focused on the ability to do these things and make it look tight with in-game tools. I'm not a big franchise guy, so this would be big for me. It would be like a Superstar Mode 2.0.

With you keeping updated info, I think you'll tap into a sort of What if? vibe each week/game.

Who you going to control each week? Home team? Underdog?

Depends on the match-up. I'll try to emulate real life as much as possible. If its a Seahawks match-up, then I will control them. I'll try to have a friend controling the other team. I don't want Robo Romo (CPU QB) to mess up the experience. But, I heard someone say that Robo Romo isn't in Madden anymore.

Plus, there will be no excessive 4th Down conversion attempts...

I'll also try to imitate coach tendencies. For instance, the Ravens will send a good blitz on almost all defensive playcalls. So, I'll try to mix up blitzes from linebackers and corners. The Jaguars always play smash-mouth football, so I will call a majority of I/Strong/Weak fromation runs...
