My 360 crashed. I was playing it, and it started sounded like a hair dryer. Then it shut off, and it had half a ring of death. So, I looked that up to see what it was, and it said it overheated. So, I waited 2 days, and tried to play again, and it shut off. So, I need to get a new one. Luckily, this one was free.

once this happens you are never the same. I bought my 1st used lasted 6 months bought a second one it lasted 6 days returned it with the warrenty and that one lasted 4 months. I finally bought one new from Target for $199 and it has lasted 2 years but, everyonce in a while I worry.

They put some new chips or something in the newest referbs and new in-store ones so they aren't supposed to die now. So you guys should be good...hopefully lol

stl, you are so right. A few years ago my xbox kicked the bucket and even though I bought a ps3 afterwards, its always in the back of my mind "what if"
