NBA 2K14: Catch & Shoot Signature Skill

This is a post in a series of blog posts describing the process of player modifications, ratings changes or signature skill changes that went into my PS4 NBA 2K14 Offseason Update Roster.

I looked at the SportVU Data at NBA Stats.

The players who had the Catch 'n' Shoot signature skill on average score 4.2 points per game, roughly 8.2 points per 48 minutes and shoot with 57.2% effective field goal percentage.

Thus I added everyone who fit those qualifications this year, as long as they played over 20 games (sorry Troy Daniels), the list of players is:

Mirza Teletovic
Anthony Tolliver
J.R. Smith
Marco Belinelli
Terrence Ross
Jose Calderon
Trevor Ariza
Gerald Green
Paul George
Khris Middleton
Carmelo Anthony
Nick Young
Arron Afflalo

To somewhat off set those additions, I've removed catch 'n' shoot from players that shot below an effective field goal percentage of 50%, those players are:

Marcus Thornton
Ben McLemore
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Gordon Hayward
Chauncey Billups
Luol Deng
Shabazz Muhammad
