Hex editing for 2k11 -Part 2: Arena Names

Ok , know most of you that have been following me. Have been able to get Modio to work for you. And folks this is the easiest part of the whole Hex editing process, so if you can get this part done. The SOL for you.... sorry.

I am going to show you how to edit arena names so you can have MSG not knicks arena.
Here are the steps you have to do.
Step 1: take the file that your going to edit open in it in your Hex editing tool that your using.
Step 2: Scroll down till you find the arena names (see thumb nail pics below)


Step 3: Find the arena name that you want to change. I will use "Knicks Arena"
(see thumb nail pics below)

Step 4: Rename the arena please note it can not be more characters.
"Knicks Arena" = 12 characters, So it has to be the less or the same in amount of characters.
I will re name it "The Garden" what ever you edit turns red. If you have extra letter to replace DO NOT DELETE you will **** up the file. You need to go in to the hex area to the left and find the letter to remove and type in "OO" (see thumb nail pics below)

Step 5: Hit save in your hex editior take your roster file and drag it to the Modio Control panel.(see thumb nail pics below)


Step 6: Hit the Rehash & Resign button, know you done move on to your xbox.

Most of you will catch on to this quicker then others .But as i stated before this the easy thing to do.

I will be putting another one up this weekend sometime sunday. off to the Magic game...
