The Hawkeyes played a very close game. It was a game dominated by the two teams offenses. This was a very exciting game to watch! Both teams kept on racking up the yards. But in the end, Iowa's superior offense was too much for Northen Illinois to defend or out score.

NCAA 2014 Iowa Hawkeyes Dynasty

Now that the OS Community rosters are out, it is time to begin my legit dynasty!!!! I will be using the OS Community Sliders Version 4. I also plan on fully incorporating conference realignment. From this point forward, unless noted otherwise, I will be writing from the perspective of a reporter from my dynasty. Here we go!!!
SEASON PREVIEW
Last season was a tough season for the Hawkeyes. They came in with moderately high expectations, but did not deliver for a combination of reasons. The biggest being it was the first year under Greg Davis and Phil Parker as OC and DC, respectively. The Hawkeyes went 4-8 last year, the first time they were ineligible for a bowl game since 2000. But there are some reasons to be slightly optimistic this year! The first is that the team has had a full year in the new systems, which should make the players more comfortable. The second is that the offense will be lead by a fresh face this year at QB, redshirt sophomore Jake Rudock. The third and most exciting is that Iowa has a new head coach this year, who won't be satisfied with anything but a win in a bowl game. The 2013-2014 season is shaping up to be a wild one for the Hawks, and I hope the fans are ready for the ride.

Slider Test

Please Note: I figured what the heck and put User QBA at 0 and loved it. It will be staying at 0 from now on.

This is a game that got away. It was back and forth throughout the whole game, but my defense kept giving up big plays. The biggest play of the game came when I was driving down the field with a chance to tie the game with a touchdown at the 35. There was 1:30 left on the clock when my QB threw a pick that pretty much well ended the game.
