I dont pay too much attention to the women's game, I know Uconn, tenn, duke, stanford, unc are usually the powers of the country. But I cant help but notice how dominating these Lady Huskies are. 70-46 over #3 Notre Dame, 81-48 over #7 Duke, 57 in a row, really? These girls got game, I think they need to be bumped up to the WNBA. I give props to them for such a dominating stretch and if they lose it will be an upset like no other. I wouldnt mind seeing them scrimmage the men's team. I'm rooting for this dynasty to continue.

Even the diehard fans here in Connecticut (mostly 50 year olds and Grandmothers) are finally getting bored with the dominance. I mean, what's the point when you smoke every Top 5 team in the nation by 25+ points. Might as well give UConn the trophy now, don't let them play anyone and let the rest of the country play for 2nd place.
The team is insane this year, Maya Moore is the best women's player I've ever seen. She has game like a dude, gets hang time on her J, shoots from the peak of her jump, etc. Not the typical set shot you see in the women's game.

That being said, I think it's very impressive to be that far ahead of the pack. I give Geno props for being able to continually get the best of the best and to maintain such a high level of excellence.
It'll be interesting to see how long they can keep it going and who will be the team to step up and truly challenge the Lady Huskies.
