Flyers Announce Trade

In surprise fashion this morning, the Philadelphia Flyers held a press conference to discuss a recent trade. Working with Edmonton, the Flyers have acquired young forward Jordan Eberle. They sent center Scott Glennie in exchange.

Glennie remains out injured, but had one assist in one game for the Flyers this season. Eberle has yet to skate in an NHL game, but has 19 points through 16 games for Oklahoma City of the AHL. The Flyers intend to use him as an NHL level player.

Summary:
Philadelphia – Edmonton
Scott Glennie – Jordan Eberle

In other news the Flyers sent to Brendan Bancroft and Shane Harper to the AHL.
