BREAKING: Titans DE Wimbley traded to Bills

NASHVILLE- Kamerion Wimbley has seen the end of his days as a Tennessee Titan, as yesterday he was traded to the Buffalo Bills for a 2014 second-round draft pick. This move comes as no surprise, especially since Titans head coach Chris Haig felt that Wimbley did not fit in with his 4-3 defense. Along with the Bills, the Raiders, Lions, Jaguars, and Bengals, whose offer the Titans were rumored to have accepted, made offers for the defensive end.

Tennessee, in need of some rebuilding, gets a draft pick to do just that. Buffalo gains a defensive end who will fit in well with their 3-4 defense and has the versatility to also play linebacker. Since both teams got what they wanted out of it, in my mind this is a solid trade.

In other transaction news, most of the top free agents going into this season have already signed deals, with S Kerry Rhodes landing in Washington where he will bolster the Redskins' secondary. CB Nate Clements will sign with Cleveland, where he will play alongside Joe Haden. Browns coaches are hoping that these two can combine for some good pass coverage.
