Titans confirm Johnson out for prob. 6 weeks

NASHVILLE- Tennessee Titans star running back Chris Johnson will be out about of six weeks, according to a statement by head trainer Brad Brown earlier today. In Brown's words:
"Chris has broken his collarbone in the game against the Redskins. He's currently in the hospital downtown. He will be in for surgery in a day or two, and then begin rehab in a couple weeks. At that rate, and with his injury, we expect him to be fully fit by week 3 of the regular season. If he feels better before that, he may return earlier; we're willing to listen to him, but don't want to rush him back before he's ready.
The loss of Johnson will come as a huge blow to the Titans; he rushed for 2,000+ yards last season and the season before that. Fortunately, the Titans have Shonn Greene waiting to pick up the slack at the halfback position, and he may indeed have it under control.
