Jimmer will be nothing in the NBA. Adam Morrison 2.0.

First of all, im NOT saying that him being white is the only reason people don't like him/think he will suceed. Im saying it's a factor. (However, all these people who keep bringing up Adam Morrison tells you that you automaticly think of a bust in Morrison rather than a star in Steph Curry). But throwing out race completely, HOW CAN YOU SAY KEMBA WALKER IS A BETTER PLAYER?! I understand that yes, Kemba plays in a tougher conference (though people REALLY exagerate on the power of the BE). But when Jimmer plays big opponents, he plays just as well. Him having a bad game against Florida was nothing to do with the "great defense" Florida put on him. He was just missing shots he normally makes. It was one of the worst nights of his ENTIRE CAREER! Yet he found a way to keep his team in it, because they certainly weren't stepping up. One of the biggest knocks people have against Jimmer is he takes to many bad shots. Well, the should be knocking Kemba Walker even more, consider Jimmer shoots a HIGER PERCENTAGE than Kemba does. Like I said before, it's not how many shots, its if you make them. And Jimmer makes more, and more effeiciently, than Kemba. And do you really think Kemba's Defense is just soooo tremendous that he will be a much better player than Jimmer in the NBA? (Because, you know how important defense is in the NBA...)

You keep saying jimmer is a better shooter what about the other parts of his game? Walker is the better overall player He is a great rebounder of his height Ans hasnt had much help either from the rest of his team.

Being able to shoot like he can is a great thing. It's gonna get him drafted, probably. But without a doubt, Jimmer has a lot of work to do to stick in the NBA. He's gonna have to learn to defend, and his overall effort without the ball and on the defensive end of the court has to improve exponentially.

The League doesn't give a crap about race. Most fans don't either. What fans hate about Fredette is the hype he gets for being 'great' when there are obvious gaping holes in his game.

Anyone remember Shane Heal? He could shoot, too. But he couldn't guard a sign post. Results? 49 games played in the NBA.

There's many guys who don't guard in the NBA, as long as their offense is superior there'll be a spot for them. Walker appears to be more athletic and i think that's why he gets more hype, even though Fredette can really jump. Kudos to the team who does draft him, i think they'll be happy that others didn't think highly enough of him.

If you ever see jimmer matched up against russel westbrook, d rose, or john wall, to give you some examples, you will understand why kemba is regarded more highly. Its a huge question mark when you wonder how his game will translate to the NBA because of that lack of athleticism. 2 best cases if you wanna compare are Steph Curry and Steve Nash. Curry flourishes well within his system, and is a stud as well, but is usually a defensive liability. Nash is an extreme outlier considering he is a freak of nature and one of the best PGs of all time. The dude is still playing amazing at the point at age 37! There is a small chance any of us will ever see anything like that again. Also, I know it sounds stupid, but Kemba has this "IT" factor about him that jimmer doesn't, hes clutch and has led this UConn team to the final four when, prior to the big east tourney, were likely to have something like a 10 seed. Fredette is good, but in NBA terms, Kemba has much more of a chance of being a star and leading a team to a championship, which if you havent already figured out, is very important in the NBA.

It all depend on what system he gets drafted to..some nba teams buy into defense others believe in out scoring there opponent..there is defense in the nba just not 82 games worth of it..percentage and **** don't matter at this point because in the league that **** will drop ask jj reddick...been in the league for a while and just starting to get burn..had to learn how defend
