Sanchez: A-, Normally I would take off more for the pick-6 on his first pass, but i'm giving him a break since he looked so good afterwards. I know the INT was deflected, but it was still an awful choice and an awful pass. He ran a smooth offense otherwise, and looked like he has taken a step forward. Anyone remember that pre-season game against the Ravens last year???
Greene: A-, Only 5 carries and 1 catch, but perhaps that is best for the guy I'm hoping will become the feature back of this offense. My only concern is that they give a little too much deference to...
Tomlinson: D, Watching him last year - especially late - I was sure he was done. After watching him last night, I now think... that he's done. I worry that it seemed that Sanchez was trying to force passes to him - I am afraid that he will have more of a role than he deserves because of what he has done in the past.
Holmes: A-, Nearly caught a highlight film ball in the endzone, but otherwise a very solid night. Sanchez actually has receiving targets - that's got to help him. Holmes, Edwards, Cotchery... that's not bad!
Woodhead: A, I just like this guy and hope he can make the team. He was a star of last year's pre-season.
Defense: B, Revis' absence was not really noticed, though I'm not sure the Giants are the team best designed to exploit this. The Giants were stuck on 4 first downs well into the 3rd quarter, as well.
Overall: B, Solid start for the Jets, with some hints towards greatness.

LT has been sick in training camp, one crappy preseason game doesn't mean he won't be good. I think he will, in a second and long third and medium kinda way. Can't put the INT on Sanchize, but the pick 6 you most definitely can. Show some hustle, be a team player, go for the takedown. Imagine Bart Scott's reaction after seeing Sanchize light a guy up on an INT return. It'll fire the defense up, and when you turn on the Jets D there's no way to turn em off. Anyway, onto our D. Cruz exploited us hard, even though that wasn't against the top starting corners/safeties, kid had like 153 yards receiving and 3 TDs. Better work on that safety play. C-, But then again I remember Vinny Testaverde, so I'm being skeptic to keep my own *** from being burnt.
