i am torn here.

as a Jet fan, we need the damn guy in there! but i also understand that they just can't "blank check" him, which i kinda think is what he is asking for...

i fully believe he'll be in there by week 1 - and how much does the pre-season matter anyway...

i just hate that there is this lingering "future excuse" out there - like an ominous sign that every Jet fan understands ALWAYS acts as a harbinger to some significant injury or other disaster (even, perhaps, just a poor start or a defense that never looks quite in sync all year)

i guess i'm left to just hope that the offense functions as well as it did in my first Madden game last night... Shonn Greene was the man!
