Mariners' bats erupt for blowout win

Seattle - The Seattle Mariners had all the bats working in this one, as almost everyone in the lineup had a hit and were driving in runs as they pounded out 13 runs on 16 hits for a convincing victory. Kyle Seager led the way with four hits, and three RBI's as his bat continues to heat up during this homestand. Meanwhile Taijuan Walker was shaky early on, giving up two home runs to Astros first baseman Chris Carter, but in the end the Mariners gave Walker too much run support for him to falter. The Mariners will now try to close out a series win tomorrow afternoon, and it is expected that James Paxton (3-2, 3.44 ERA) will be returning from his DL stint to make the start for the Mariners against Jarred Cosart (1-5, 5.59 ERA).
