Iwakuma masterful as Mariners down Astros

Seattle - For the second time this season, the Mariners one hit the Houston Astros, as this time it was Hisashi Iwakuma doing the damage in the Mariners 2-0 win. Kuma was perfect through 7.2 until Alex Presley broke up the bid at history with 2 outs in the eighth. It would be the only baserunner the Astros would have however, as Kuma fanned 11 in a simply dominant offense. A James Jones RBI Double, and a solo moon shot by Corey Hart would prove to be all the offense the M's would need with Iwakuma's brillant performace. The two teams will be back at it tomorrow in Game 2 as Alex White (4-2, 5.57 ERA) will take on Erasmo Ramirez (0-1, 4.26 ERA).
